Somalia is an arid and semi-arid with two seasonal rainfall. Somalia is experiencing a number of recurring disasters: drought and flood. there is an enormous challenge ahead as to what should be done to mitigate and adapt to those recurring disasters. Somalia has a great potential to achieve sustainable development and to contribute in the reduction of Green House Gases (GHG).
